Monday July 21st, 2014 at 7:00 pm

impressionismCome to the library for a lecture by Beth Knaus from Art Matters about Impressionist art and artists.  Beth will bring 35-40 oversize color prints of Impressionist art and talk about the artwork and the artists who created them.

The Impressionists of 19th century Paris–painters of light, nature, and human nature–profoundly changed the way the world looked at art. The ripples from this revolutionary style of painting spread far and wide, influencing a totally new generation of artists.
