Introducing Tumble Books

tumble booksThe Children’s Department is happy to announce the addition of the Tumble Book Library.  On our library website under the tab ebooks and Music click on TumbleBook Library.  The database features picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, game & puzzles and language learning which includes Spanish, French, Chinese and Russian.  Try it and have some fun!

Next Steps Reading Club

leafNext Steps Reading Club    Starting on the right path to reading!  September 22-November 17, 2014  For children birth to 5 years old.  Registration required and space is limited.  This autumn, help your little one FALL into reading by joining our early literacy reading program!  Our program is a fun, non-competitive way to encourage families with small children to read together.  Each child will get a bag containing a reading log, and a fall-themed stamp.  For every book read, add a stamp to the log.  For every 5 books you read, your child will receive a fall themed-cutout with his or her name on it to hang in the Picture Book Room.  Help us decorate for fall by reading!   Call 781-769-0200 ext 225 or email norchild@minlib.net for details and to register! Registration starts September 2.
