Spring 2014 Musical Sundays Series

The Spring 2014 Musical Sundays Series will begin on March 2, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the Library’s Simoni Room.  For a PDF brochure, download it here.

Musical Sunday Series: Tiger Lily Run Jazz Quartet

Sunday, November 17th, at 3:00 pm

Tiger lilyThe Musical Sundays fall series wraps up with the Tiger Lily Run Jazz Quartet, which will perform songs by Charlie Parker, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter, and Antonio Carlos Jobim. The quartet includes Boston area performers Barry Levine (alto sax), Susanna Fiore (piano), Jay Girill (bass) and Judy Katz-Levine (flute).

Musical Sundays Concert Series: An Afternoon of Harp Music

Sunday, November 3rd at 3:00 pm

Lizary Rodriguez Rios and five of her students will perform a variety of musical selections including pieces from Spain, Latin America, Ireland, and the U.S. This concert is being held in the Cushing Reading Room. Musical Sundays Concert Series: Swing Fever Trio

Swing Fever TrioGet your toes tapping as the Swing Fever Trio applies its distinctive jazz stylings to the music of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and much more. It’s a joyous sampling of the best of American popular music of the past 100 years.
Norwood’s own pianist/vocalist Steve Rudolph is accompanied by Ralph Pepe on bass
& Alan Trebat on drums. Come and catch Swing Fever!
