Those who have heard the Singing State Trooper, Daniel Clark, sing will be thrilled to know he is performing at the library! With his extensive performance, military, and law enforcement experience, Daniel is now a full-time entertainer and continues to travel the country with his powerful and electrifying performances that inspire all in attendance with music inspired by Broadway, opera, Elvis, Irish, Italian, and patriotic….leaving his audiences always asking for more!

Musical Sundays – Wolverine Jazz Trio

December 5th, 2010

Come hear the Wolverine Jazz Trio perform a variety of jazz tunes from the early 20th century, along with some great holiday classics. John Clark (clarinet and sax), Jimmy Mazzy (banjo and vocals) and Rick MacWilliams (tuba) are all well-known in the local area. Music from “The Nutcracker”

Pianist Alfred Watson will return to delight the audience with his magical performance and commentary built around the music of Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker Suite”.

Mr. Watson, a seasoned classical pianist and composer, is a graduate of the prestigious Julliard School of Music in New York City.

Jazz in the Afternoon

Sunday, November 14th at 5pm

Vocalist Beth Purcell and pianist Anthony Healy will perform jazz standards and show tunes by classic American Songbook composers. Beth has a broad background in musical theatre which enriches her vocal interpretation. From jazz cafes to leading roles in performance halls, she has entertained throughout New England. “witty and beautiful songs sung with passion and sensitivity”
