Teen Family Movie Night: “Maleficent”

MaleficentJoin us for another teen family movie night!  The 2014 film “Maleficent” depicts the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain from the 1959 classic, “Sleeping Beauty.” The film stars Angelina Jolie, Elle Fanning, Sharlto Copley, and Sam Riley and is directed by Robert Stromberg.  Complimentary popcorn will be provided by the Bellingham Regal Cinema Theatre. “Maleficent” is rated PG and runs 97 minutes.  The library is able to show films thanks to a movie license funded by the Friends of the Library.

Hoopla Digital at the Norwood Library

Hoopla provides free easy access to stream and temporarily download thousands of movies, TV shows, music albums, and audiobooks. There is no waiting list or reserve process for these titles, and no late fees. Allison Palmgren, our Technology Librarian, has created a simple how-to video to learn how to start using hoopla. Or, you can follow along with these written directions. To use hoopla, Norwood residents will need a valid library card and an email address. Everyone can borrow up to 5 titles per month, and each title will list the exact borrowing time period. We strongly recommend downloading the hoopla digital app from the iTunes app store or Android market so you can download content on you smartphone or tablet and take it with you.
