Family Movie Night: Frozen – This program is full

Thursday August 21st, 2014 at 6:00 pm – FULL

FrozenCool off in the middle of the hot summer months! So many people have signed up for the July screening that we’ll be showing it twice this summer. Join the library on our second Family Movie Night, where we’ll be showing the popular Disney movie, “Frozen” (PG, 108 mins).  All are welcome.  Complimentary popcorn will be provided by the Bellingham Regal Cinemas, and the movie will be shown in our air-conditioned Simoni Room.  If you have any questions, please contact the Children’s Desk 781-769-0200 x225 or the Reference Desk x110.

Water Wizards

Let’s go where the wet things are in this entertaining  program with master storyteller Diane Edgecomb. We’ll act like CLAMS, JELLYFISH and LOBSTERS in the Native American legend: How Whales got their Spouts and explore the water cycle in Diane’s fun, water conservation tale: What Now, Cloacina?!! Eggbert “N” Ice Program is full

Wednesday, July 23, at 7:00-8:00 p.m.

Ages 5 andmad science of boston up.  Registration required.  Mad Science of Greater Boston will present a science show for children that highlights ®some of the best of Mad Science. Mad Science’s high energy demonstrations are fun,spectacular and sure to leave the children with memories that last well beyond the grand finale. Children will be dazzled and entertained as they interact with our Mad Scientist. The show will also include foggy dry ice and demonstrations of how science is used to float beachballs in the air. And, with suggestions from the audience, the Mad Scientist will unlock the mystery of how to get “Egg-bert” back into his house. Ever seen scissors sizzle and shiver?  Ever taken a bubble shower? Here’s your chance!  So, to see some cool experiments using some really hot stuff and to see some hot experiments using really some cool stuff, come see our Special Event Show !
