Musical Sundays Concert Series: Swing Fever Trio

Swing Fever TrioGet your toes tapping as the Swing Fever Trio applies its distinctive jazz stylings to the music of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and much more. It’s a joyous sampling of the best of American popular music of the past 100 years.
Norwood’s own pianist/vocalist Steve Rudolph is accompanied by Ralph Pepe on bass
& Alan Trebat on drums. Come and catch Swing Fever!

Columbus Day Weekend Hours

ColumbusThe library will be closed on Monday, October 14th, in observance of Columbus Day.

Saturday hours remain the same with the library being open from 9:00-5:00.

First Thursday Book Discussion

Loving FrankJoin Margot Sullivan for the next First Thursday Book Discussion. The selected book for October is Loving Frank by Nancy Horan. No registration is necessary. The Adult Book Discussion Group meets on the first Thursday of the month from October through May. 
This program is funded by the Friends of the Library.

The next meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 5th.  The book will be The Gardner Heist by Ulrich Boser.

Road Scholar: Adventures in Lifelong Learning

Hilly RoadRochelle Kruger will give a free presentation about Road Scholar (formerly Elderhostel), America’s first and the world’s largest education and travel organization dedicated to serving baby boomers and beyond. Road Scholar offers nearly 8,000 programs throughout the U.S. and in more than 90 countries. It includes lectures, field trips, excursions, enrichment activities, accommodations,  meals, and gratuities.
