Enter the annual Morrill Memorial Library Essay Contest

Pencil for Essay ContestBack by popular demand, the Morrill Memorial Library will hold its annual essay contest for Norwood residents between April 15th  and May 15th. The topic this year is “The Literary Character I would Most Like to Meet.” Anyone interested in entering the contest may stop by the library for the details and the entry form or find them below. The essays should be submitted by email to nling@minlib.net or to Nancy Ling in the Outreach Department. Three prizes will be awarded to the First, Second and Third Place winners in each group (Grades 3-4, Grades 5-8, Grade 9-Adult). The prizes are $35, $25 and $10 dollar gift cards to Barnes & Noble. Essays will be read at the awards ceremony on June 2, 2015 at 7pm. The library wishes to express its appreciation to the Andrew and Ernest J. Boch Memorial Fund for its generous donation to this contest. The forms are available as PDFs below and at the library Information and Children’s desks.
