Childrens Storytimes

Be sure to check our Events Calendar for special programming during the year, especially during the vacation weeks throughout the year.

Storytimes in the Children’s Room are offered during Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions.  Most of the weekly programs require registration.  Although we do not have weekly storytimes in the summer, we do offer a wide variety of activities for children of all ages.  Please check the Children’s Spring Storytimes 2012 for information about the summer programs.

Lapsits

Under 3 Years Old

Fridays 10:30 – 11 am (registration required)

Fridays 11:30 – 12 noon (drop-in program)

Designed for our youngest listeners, lapsits are a time for children and a caregiver to share simple stories, sing songs, dance, play instruments, and more!

3 Year Olds’ Storytimes

Thursdays 10 – 10:30 am

Children will enjoy stories, songs, and puppets at these entertaining storytimes.

4 & 5 Year Olds’ Storytimes

Tuesdays 10 – 10:30 am

Preschoolers can learn songs, finger-plays and listen to some of the best classic tales.

PJ Storytimes

Ages: 3 – 6 (no registration required)

First Thursday of the month.

Wear your pajamas and bring your teddy bears to this evening of bedtime stories, songs, and a snack.
