Children’s Storytimes Winter 2015

Be sure to check our Events Calendar for special programming during the year, especially during the vacation weeks throughout the year.

Winter session starts on January 14th.  Sign up for On My Own Storytime and Lucy the R.E.A.D Dog starts on December 22.

Weekly Storytimes

Babes n Books Wednesdays 10:30-11:00am Infants to 17 months old. Come and experience books, rhymes and songs with your baby. This is a drop in program.

On My Own Storytime Thursdays 10:00-10:30am. Ages 3 & 4. Miss Jane will have the children reading, singing, laughing and dancing. An independent storytime. Registration required.

Toddler Time Fridays 10:30-11:00am. Children under 3 and their caregivers. Join us as we sing, dance, and read. This is a drop in program. Simoni Room.

Special Storytimes

PJ Storytime The first Thursday of every month.  January 8th at 7:00-7:30pm. All ages.Wear your pajamas and bring your teddy bears! We’ll enjoy stories, songs and a snack. This is a drop in program.

Lucy the R.E.A.D. Dog  Thursday, January 22, February 19, March 19 and April 16 at 4:00pm. Beginning readers and up. Miss Pat and Lucy share their love of reading with you! Come meet Lucy. Registration required.

Dads and Doughnuts  Saturday,  January 17, February 21, March 21 and April 18  at 10:30am Children 2 and up are invited to attend these special storytimes.  Although dads are in the majority, moms and other relatives are invited.

Tumble Books   Have a storytime at home!

tumble booksThe Children’s Department is happy to announce the addition of the Tumble Book Library.  On our library website under the tab ebooks and Music click on TumbleBook Library.  The database features picture books, chapter books, graphic novels, game & puzzles and language learning which includes Spanish, French, Chinese and Russian.  Try it and have some fun!
