Morrill Memorial Library Annual Essay Contest

Pencil for Essay ContestThe Morrill Memorial Library will hold its 2nd annual essay contest for Norwood residents between May 15th  and June 15th. The categories this year are “The Best Book Ever” (Grades 3-8) and “The Book that Changed My Life” (Grade 9-Adult).

Anyone interested in entering the contest may stop by the library for the details and the entry form or find them below. The essays should be submitted by email to nling@minlib.net or to Nancy Ling in the Outreach Department.

Prizes will be awarded to the First, Second, and Third Place winners in each group. The prizes are $45, $25, and $15 gift cards to Barnes & Noble. Winners will be announced on Monday, July 8th, and essays will be read at the awards ceremony in September.

The library wishes to express its appreciation to the Andrew and Ernest J. Boch Memorial Fund for its generous donation to this contest.
