Register for a Library Card:
Requirements:
- Photo ID and proof of Massachusetts residency (e.g.: license, postmarked letter, utility bill, vehicle registration) or proof of employment in Norwood
- Children through grade 8 need to provide an ID in addition to a parent or guardian’s signature
- Fill out our Library Card Registration Form.
- You may also register online to get started with an eCard.
- Within six months of registering for an eCard, bring your temporary eCard number, or the confirmation email to the library to transfer your registration to a regular library card.
- To pickup a regular library card a photo ID and proof of Massachusetts residency or employment in Norwood are required.

Renewals:
Most materials checked out in Norwood can be renewed 3 times. Exceptions include items on hold for another person or on a reading list, items obtained from outside the Minuteman Network (ILL books), Speed Reads, and high demand items. Request renewals in person, online, or by phone, using your library card number.
