Meeting Rooms

Guidelines, Usage, and Reservations:

The Morrill Memorial Library has two (2) meeting rooms available, without charge, to local non-profit groups for educational, informational, or cultural meetings and programs. No meeting is allowed that promotes any business or commercial activity, and no marketing of any kind is allowed. All meetings and programs must be open to the public without charge, regardless of whether an individual is a member of the organization. All groups requesting use of the Simoni or Trustees Room must fill out a Room Use Application Form indicating an individual of at least age 18 who will be responsible for the room.

Room Use Applications must be delivered or emailed to the library at: norwood@minlib.net. Meeting Room Reservations are not complete until you have received approval and confirmation of your application from the library. Please contact Library Administration with any questions.

Use of the meeting rooms for library purposes will take precedence over all other reservations. To allow flexibility for library sponsored events, library administration reserves the right to reschedule or cancel room reservations, though every effort will be made to avoid such cancellations, and as much advance notice as possible will be given.

Meeting Room Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 9:00 am – 8:45 pm
  • Friday: 10:00 am – 4:45 pm
  • Saturday: 9:00 am – 4:45 pm
  • Sunday: Meeting rooms are not available on Sundays

Parking is limited to patrons using the library. Please note: for groups of 20 or more, participants should park at the church parking lot on Winter Street.

Simoni Room — Capacity: 75 persons

  • Audio/Visual system with projection screen and LCD projector
  • DVD Player and Laptop Audio and Video connection
  • Lectern, Meeting tables, and chairs
  • Kitchen (available upon request)
  • Kitchen equipment, utensils and other supplies not provided

Trustees Room — Capacity: 15 persons

  • Conference table
  • Seating for six (6) people
  • additional table and chairs available by request
