Proctoring services are currently available Monday - Saturday during open hours. To arrange for a Proctor, please contact the Reference Department at 781-769-0200, option 2, or email Liz Reed at lreed@minlib.net.
The Morrill Memorial Library staff is happy to schedule a proctoring session with students. The session must be scheduled personally with a staff member authorized to proctor exams, must be during open hours, finishing before the library closes for the day, and must be scheduled according to staff availability.
You are responsible for paying the $15 fee in cash or check on the day of the exam, or for arranging for your institution to do so. Checks should be made payable to the Morrill Memorial Library.
You are responsible for communicating with your institution/professor and having them communicate with the library BEFORE the proctoring session. Proctors are happy to scan and email documents to the professor or department at the end of the exam.
You are responsible for knowing the rules of your institution/exam (e.g., no calculator or notes).
You are responsible for bringing your own laptop and power cord if the test is an online test. Bring all log-in information.
We will provide a desk within sight of our staff; however, please note that it may not be completely silent in the area.
You must bring and present a valid ID on the day of the test.
Please give a 24-hour cancellation notice personally to the staff member who has agreed to proctor. (A no-show will not be scheduled again without cancellation notice.)
