Technology Assistance:

While we are happy to spend a few minutes helping with formatting a Word document or showing you how to search the library catalog at the Reference Desk, sometimes we all need a little more guidance, instruction, or help with a device. The library offers individual or small group technology assistance by appointment.

Library Computers & Equipment:

The Morrill Memorial Library provides the following computer equipment and technology for in-library use:

  • Nine (9) PC workstations (Windows 11), three (3) Chromebooks, and three (3) Windows Laptops for adult in-library use. All library computers can be used for accessing the internet. Windows computers have Microsoft Office and other common business applications
  • Laptops are available to Minuteman Library card holders for in-library use only
  • Low-Vision and Accessibility Devices and workstation
  • Three (3) Chromebooks in the Children's Dept.
  • Three (3) Public Catalog Search stations
  • Flatbed Scanner (attached to Windows 11 PC)
  • Graphics Software (Gimp)
  • Scan-to-email, Copying, and Faxing
  • Faxing and Scan-to-Email are free
  • Print allowance of five (5) free Black and White pages (or two (2) in color) per user per day; after that Black & White printing costs $0.25 per page, and Color printing costs $0.50 per page
  • Copying costs are $0.25 per page Black and White, and $0.50 per page for Color.
  • WiFi printing (same cost as above)
  • Microfilm Reader with print capability
